DeWine Provides Help For Sexual Assault Victims

Friday, March 22, 2013                                 10:15 AM

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine is putting together a plan to help more sexual assault victims. DeWine wants a full range of response services in all 88 counties within five years, paid for in part by a registration fee charged to convicted sex offenders. There would also be an emphasis on sexual assault prevention through education programs in schools and communities. The five year, $1.5 million project focuses its first year on expanding services to Wyandot, Crawford, Meigs and Perry Counties.
