Tuesday, April 16, 2013                                       2:45 PM

Arlington Village Council voted to make improvements at the park. Grass will be placed on two of the infields at the park at a cost of $8,700. Helms and Sons Excavating will perform the work. Council will also consider repairing an open shelter house as well as painting the roof of a restroom building according to the Courier. Councilman Greg Craven also mentioned the possibility of placing lights on the northern end of the park parking lot which could help deter criminal activity. Council may consider other improvements depending on grant availability from the Hancock Park District.
