Ohio Homeland Security Asking Citizens To Report Suspicious Activity

The entire country is on a heightened state of alert since the tragedy in Boston Monday. Ohio Homeland Security is putting the word out to the public to be vigilant and reminding you, "If you see something, say something."..

Lt. Anne Ralston serves as the Public Information Officer for Ohio Homeland Security and said suspicious activity that does not merit an emergency can be reported to 1-877-OHSINTEL. Some things to be on the lookout for are people who have a prolonged interest in security measures, following security personnel or asking unusual questions. Lt. Ralston said the unusual act of walking away from personal belongings should raise suspicion too..

Ohio Homeland Security is working closely with federal authorities and monitoring the situation in Boston should information become available that could affect the safety and security of Ohio.
