North Baltimore Police Officer Resigns Amid Misconduct Allegations

Thursday, April 18, 2013 - 5:15 AM

North Baltimore is short a police officer, following the resignation of an officer this week amid allegations of misconduct while on the job. The Courier reports Robert Bartz, a three-year member of the police department, submitted his resignation late last week. The nature of the violations have not been made public, but Police Chief Allan Baer tells the newspaper there is a possibility that criminal charges could be filed.

In the meantime North Baltimore will advertise for an open position on the police department. While that search takes place the force will run with five officers.
