Findlay Girl In Serious Condition Following Friday Crash

A Findlay girl, hurt in a two car crash near Columbus Grove Friday night, remains in serious condition in a Toledo hospital. 12 year-old Maryssa Stevens was taken by ambulance to St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima and then transferred by helicopter to Toledo's Children's Hospital following an accident that happened around 8:30 p.m. Friday. The Lima Post of the State Highway Patrol reports 17 year-old Cody Briggs of Lima was driving east on Hillville Road when he ran a stop sign and hit a vehicle driven by 71-year-old Garry Stevens who was northbound on State Route 65. Shawn Lambert, a passenger in Briggs' car, was in critical condition at St. Rita's as of Saturday.
