Judge Assigned To Collette Case

Wednesday, June 19, 2013                                       5:30 AM

A retired judge from Crawford County Municipal Court has been assigned to hear the petty theft case against former city councilman K.C. Collette. Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Maureen O'Connor appointed Judge James Hoover. Local municipal court judges recused themselves from the case because Collette was a former councilman and assistant county prosecutor. Collette pleaded not guilty to stealing $12 worth of vitamins from the Trenton Ave. Walmart.
