Special Olympics Torch Set To Pass Through Findlay

The Special Olympics Torch is set to pass through Findlay next Wednesday. Lauren Williams of Blanchard Valley Center spoke with us about the celebration planned at the center that day..

The torch will be coming in from Toledo and will make its way through Findlay to the center at 5 p.m. Williams said 24 athletes from Blanchard Valley Center will be competing in the Special Olympics in Columbus next weekend..

The event is Wednesday June 26. The public is welcomed to come to BVC beginning at 4:30 p.m. The torch will come down Main St. with a stop at the Court House for Pictures. A stop will be made at the Sixth St. Kroger and proceed to Blanchard and then north to Sandusky St. for the final leg.
